Princess Winter is admired by the Lunar people for her grace and kindness, and despite the scars that mar her face, her beauty is said to be even more breathtaking than that of her stepmother, Queen Levana.

Winter despises her stepmother, and knows Levana won’t approve of her feelings for her childhood friend—the handsome palace guard, Jacin. But Winter isn’t as weak as Levana believes her to be and she’s been undermining her stepmother’s wishes for years. Together with the cyborg mechanic, Cinder, and her allies, Winter might even have the power to launch a revolution and win a war that’s been raging for far too long.

Can Cinder, Scarlet, Cress, and Winter defeat Levana and find their happily ever afters?

My Review:

LADIES AND GENTS, I present to you the final and the concluding book of THE Lunar Chronicles Series, Winter!

This book revolves around the story of Winter. Winter is pretty and graceful along with the scar on her face. The people of Luna adore her so much which makes her stepmother, Levana, jealous. She has a bodyguard named Jacin, who protects her so much, I don’t even know if the relationship between them is purely professional or not. Cinder, along with gang, intertwined their paths with Winter which turned out to be helpful and caring with the gang.

I love this book. The plot is amazing as always. The writing is so good– I couldn’t put it down. The fighting scenes are epic and the ending is just a big explosion of love and happiness and anything nice!

My OTP still remains, it’s still Cress and Thorne. The romance between Jacin and Winter just didn’t get me maybe because there were just a little amount of time that they were together in the book (but it really tell a lot about their relationship status). I also love Winter’s “crazy” personality. I believe that it really made her special and unique.

The character development, boys and gals, are way beyond my imagination. The way Cinder, Kai, Scarlet, Wolf, Cress, Thorne even Winter and Jacin transformed is just awesome. They did things they never imagined doing in their whole lives.

You would thought, really Abby, 8 main characters in a book and they all get their own story? YESSSS!!! THEY DO GET THEIR OWN STORY AND TIME AND LINES AND EVERYTHING NICE! That is why I love Ms. Meyer and her books because she doesn’t leave anyone behind! She introduces these eight characters and she commits to them! She tells them ‘don’t worry i’ll not overshadow you, i’ll give you lines and stories, okay?’(just a manifestation of how Ms. Meyer created and maintained her characters). But yes, you will not regret picking up this book.

There is no bad thing I could say about this book. The ending is memorable and it’s a great way of wrapping up the book! It really is amazing! It’s 800 pages and it’s totally freaking worth it!

I give this book a 5 out of 5 stars.
