The Secret Life of a Book Blogger

This is actually the first time that I would do a book tag that I actually GOT TAGGED! Hahahhaa! Thank you, Beth for tagging me. You can read hers here.

1.How long have you been a blogger?

I’ve been blogging ever since I can remember. I was, I think, 10 years old when I started blogging. I am very opinionated and at that time, people my age were not very open to my opinions and I ended up just talking to myself instead of socializing. All my old blogs are in the dark side of the internet now. It’s whether I deleted it or I forgot my e-mail or password, because let’s face it, our e-mail address back then was such a funny thing!

My blog, ThePandaBookBlog, started three weeks ago. I am actually proud of myself that I am able to meet book bloggers from the different sides of the world in that three weeks time.

2. At what point do you think you will stop?

I don’t think I’ll stop. And I don’t want to stop. I’ve made pretty cool friends in just a span of 3 weeks and what about the months to come!

3. What is the best thing?

It’s the interaction of book bloggers with one another. Even though you’re strangers art first, once you have noticed that you have read a certain book, then you’ll instantly click together! And also the freedom of expression. People in the book blogging community also listen to what you have to say in a certain book.

4. What is the worst thing? What do you do to make it okay?

I’m not really sure. I’ve never been here too long and I haven’t encountered any bad thing.

5. How long does it take to find/create pictures to use?

I use book covers from Goodreads. The editing is done in Photoshop in like 2-3 minutes. I only put the book cover because I have the .psd file of my theme in my laptop.

6. Who’s your book crush?

Oh man, where do I start? Does it have to be related to books? Well then, my book crush would be Jeff Zentner. He actually liked my tweets (2 tweets to be exact) and actually replied to me when I commented on his instagram. Talk about crushes being real!

7. What author would you like to have on your blog?

My favorite authors ofc. The first on the list would be J.K. Rowling and Rick Riordan and then the rest (not in particular order): Jeff Zentner, Marissa Meyer, Sophie Kinsella, and Richelle Mead.

8. What do you wear when you write your blog?

I usually wear something comfy and probably in my night dress since I always blog right when I’m about to sleep.

9. How long does it take you to prepare?

The only preparation I do is the pictures and links I used. In terms of writing, I just usually say what’s on my mind.

10. How do you feel about the book blogger community/culture?

I love it! They are very warm-hearted and they respect each opinion!

11. What do you think one should do to have a successful blog?

I think the key is mostly doing what you love and enjoying everything you do.

I love your answers for this tag! And wow, I can’t believe you’ve been blogging since you were 10, that’s amazing that you still enjoy it so much after all these years
I definitely agree with you though, the interaction with the other bloggers and the community is one of the best parts 😀
